For years now the Pregnancy Support Centers have saved lives by encouraging and helping women to make the choice of life for their unborn babies.

We have received an urgent letter from them recently.

While most say religion and politics don’t mix, sometimes it has to.

There is a proposed amendment to the VA Constitution that would enshrine “reproductive freedom” as a fundamental right – including abortion all the way through the 9 months of pregnancy.

If it passes, pregnancy support centers in Virginia could be seen as “infringing, burdening, or denying” on these rights because they do not offer abortion.

This is a direct threat to their exitance.

The amendment already passed once through the general assembly and will be voted on a 2nd time in January 2026

• The language of the amendment cannot be changed

• It has to pass both chambers

If the November election in the house of delegates results in a pro-abortion majority once again, it will pass and be voted on a ballot initiative in Nov 2026.

It would take a miracle from God not to pass – as current polling shows 61-39% in favor of the amendment.

Abortions in VA are up 103% in the last 6 years.

The good news is it can be stopped. The house of delegates is currently 51-49 pro-abortion.

If that flips this November to 51-49 pro-life, the threat would be over.

The only path to stopping this amendment is to elect pro-life candidates to the house of delegates this Nov.

What could happen if this passes:

• Pregnancy Centers could be sued if they don’t offer or refer clients for abortion

• No life-saving treatment for babies surviving abortion

• Eliminates parents rights to know about or consent to a young child’s abortion

• Reproductive freedom is an umbrella term for transgender surgeries for minors

• If we don’t value life at its beginning stages it may not be valued at the end either

• People crossing state lines to come to VA for abortions – already up 30%

• Exploitation of embryos

There are already law suits against pregnancy centers in 8 other states now.

We are starting a prayer movement for the election of pro-life candidates. Time is running out. This Wednesday night at 7:30 stop whatever you are doing and pray for Christians to get out and vote to stop this awful amendment from passing.
